My story

Helping people prepare for pregnancy before conception.

Hello, I am Philomena, a midwife and a preconception care advocate working at Greater Accra Regional Hospital (GARH), Ghana, with a passion for women's reproductive health, pregnancy preparation and preconception care.

Through my work in midwifery, I have developed a strong appreciation for the importance of preparing for pregnancy long before conception.

This passion inspired me to establish The Preconception Care Hub, a platform dedicated to helping individuals and couples understand their reproductive health, make informed decisions and build a healthy foundation for parenthood.

My mission is to make preconception care more accessible through evidence-based health education, personalised assessments, counselling and compassionate support.
